Internationalizing class content contributes to
acquire new learning methods.
Thanks to our partnership with Ohio University, a new program
has been developed consisting in a business game supervised by
American professors. Participants need to find the best solutions
combining Finance, Operation Management and Strategy.
Method
A cluster is an interdisciplinary form of teaching which gives students
a transverse vision of several subjects. That learning method enables
students to see and understand companies in an overall perspective.
Each year, 30 students from ESC PAU together with 40 students from
Ohio University, attend this 10-week program taught by American
professors. These multicultural teams give students a good opportunity
to compare different economic approaches and working methods.
Content
Following this 140-hour program, students are able to analyse the
corporate mechanisms, know how to identify the strengths and weaknesses
of a company, to understand and anticipate economic decisions and
are able to defend any strategic option. A fourth course is proposed
(Professional Communication) in order to reinforce student ability
in oral and written presentations.

Admission
Ohio Cluster program is proposed to ESC PAU students who have a
good practice in English as well as a satisfactory level in fundamental
Business courses. |
